Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Hoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Wolek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoi's entrance music is Fehu - Wardruna. A fine choice. Wolek comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DMX - Ruff Ryders anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fabian Hoi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lukasz Wolek's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Fabian Hoi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lukasz Wolek! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wolek has time to react. Fabian Hoi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoi throws a body punch but Wolek moves out of range. Wolek tries to clinch but Hoi moves out of range. Hoi takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wolek throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wolek connects with a right hand. Hoi shakes it off. An inside leg kick lands from Hoi. Hoi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wolek to score with a decent uppercut. Wolek throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Hoi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Hoi throws a wild body kick that Wolek sees coming a mile off. Hoi thuds his right hand into Wolek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wolek misses with a hook. The fighters circling - Hoi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoi misses with a double jab
and Wolek makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Hoi throws a poor cross that misses
and Wolek cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A solid leg kick lands there for Hoi.
Hoi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hoi misses with a straight right. A leg kick checked by Hoi. Hoi moves out of range as Wolek strikes. Wolek tries a low kick but Hoi avoids it. Hoi is looking to slow Wolek down with leg kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoi throws a nice looking combination but Wolek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hoi connects with a jab. Wolek tries to clinch up. Wolek misses with an uppercut
and Hoi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hoi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hoi misses with an uppercut. Wolek looks to land a right hand but Hoi moved out of range. Good exchange - Wolek coming out on top. Hoi throws a sloppy head kick and Wolek moves out of range easily. Hoi stuns Wolek with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A shot to the body from Hoi misses and Wolek counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolek is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Lukasz Wolek has been cut. Wolek lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hoi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hoi swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hoi misses with a right hand and Wolek counters with a stiff right hand. Nice body punch from Wolek. Hoi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wolek counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Hoi off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Wolek follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Hoi was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lukasz Wolek! Lukasz Wolek is the new featherweight champion! Our winner, Lukasz Wolek, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. In defeat, Fabian Hoi stepped up to the mic, saying 'Honored to have fought such a beast and manager by one of the best managers in the game for sure! Hats of to you Whymer!
