Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sigurd Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok's entrance music is Killing in the name of.... A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim moves out of range of the body kick.
It seemed like Kim was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lodbrok throws an overhand right that lands on Kim's shoulder, as Kim tries to avoid the shot.
Kim throws out a counter right but Lodbrok avoids it with no problem.
Lodbrok misses with a few strikes there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kim! But no joy.
Lodbrok throws the kick towards the body but Kim avoids it.
Lodbrok throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Lodbrok swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lodbrok tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kim looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Lodbrok throws a lazy uppercut
letting Kim counter with a right hand.
Lodbrok lands with a straight right. Kim didn't see that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lodbrok throws a head kick that misses.
Kim looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A low kick from Lodbrok is predictable there
and Kim counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lodbrok connects with a single shot there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sigurd Lodbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lodbrok throws a head kick but Kim moves out of range.
Lodbrok cracks Kim with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lodbrok throws a lazy head kick
and Kim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lodbrok throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kim counters with a big right hand! Oh Lodbrok is in trouble here! Kim follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

A very excited looking Jin Kim rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
