The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaayi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Roxton.
Roxton unleashes a big counter combination but Kaayi bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Hideya Kaayi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kaayi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Roxton can pounce on him.

Kaayi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roxton manages to avoid it.

It looks like Hideya Kaayi has been cut.
Roxton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kaayi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Roxton connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kaayi scrambles back to his feet.

Despite the aggression on Roxton's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Roxton staggers Kaayi with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Kaayi looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roxton lands a right and a left and another right! Kaayi goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
