Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aron Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Parkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aron Bell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Matt Parkman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aron Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Parkman! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Parkman. No joy for Bell on that attempt. Bell looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Parkman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bell throws out the jab. Parkman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Parkman advances position into side control! Parkman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bell to his feet. Parkman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Parkman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bell looks for a takedown but Parkman sprawls well. Parkman has a takedown stuffed. That's one minute gone in the round. Parkman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bell tries to avoid it but Parkman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bell throws a shot to the body.
Bell swings away with a leg kick that misses. Matt Parkman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parkman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bell pinned against the cage. Bell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Parkman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Parkman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Parkman is looking to clinch but Bell is avoiding it.
Parkman throws a body kick that misses. Bell digs a good body shot into Parkman's ribs. Parkman misses with a few strikes there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Parkman closes the distance and clinches up with Bell, looking for a takedown. Parkman pushes Bell against the cage but Bell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bell fails in his attempt to clinch. Parkman moves in looking to clinch but Bell pushes him off. Parkman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. and Bell counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Parkman is looking to clinch but Bell is avoiding it.
Parkman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bell counters with a left and a right that stings Parkman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Parkman tries for a takedown but Bell circles away easily letting Bell counter with a right hand. Parkman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Parkman fails with the takedown and Bell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Parkman has his takedown stuffed and Bell counters with a left to the body. Parkman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bell counters with a right hand to the body. Parkman with a lazy takedown attempt and Bell counters with a right hand to the body. Bell tries to clinch but Parkman moves away and Parkman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bell! Bell really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Parkman working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parkman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Parkman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Parkman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Parkman looking to finish Bell with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bell! Parkman goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bell turns into him and now he's in Parkman's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parkman wants to sweep here but Bell controlling him for the moment. Bell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Parkman dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Parkman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Aron Bell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Parkman tries to bum rush Bell with a series of wild strikes but Bell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bell throws a nice looking combination but Parkman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Parkman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bell circles away. Parkman throws out a leg kick but Bell moves out of range and Parkman only half commits. Bell keeps the fight on the outside. Parkman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Parkman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Parkman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bell scores with a one two! Parkman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Parkman looks to clinch and Bell counters by moving into the clinch. Bell gets underhooks to prevent Parkman's takedown attempt.

Aron Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Parkman. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Parkman trying to control the position from guard on top but Bell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parkman pushes down on Bell's leg and manages to get into half guard. Parkman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bell to get to his feet. Parkman fails with the takedown enabling Bell to counter with a crisp jab. Parkman tries to clinch up. Parkman pushes Bell up against the cage in a clinch. Parkman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bell smiles and moves away.

Parkman throws a combination that misses and Bell counters with a single leg into guard. Parkman didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parkman keeping moving, preventing Bell from controlling successfully. Parkman pushes Bell off and scrambles back to his feet.
Parkman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Parkman showed some decent athleticism there. Parkman stands up and beckons Bell to join him on the feet. Parkman misses with a takedown attempt - Bell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Parkman. No joy for Bell on that attempt. Parkman closes the distance and clinches. Parkman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bell is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice sprawl there from Bell as Parkman shoots in. Parkman dodges the punch combination from Bell.

and Bell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bell preventing the sweep. Parkman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bell's guard. Parkman stands up and waves to Bell to follow him. Parkman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell jabs at Parkman's body. Parkman wants to clinch and Bell counters with a two punch combo. Bell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parkman moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bell lands a body shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parkman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A close second round but Matt Parkman will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bell is looking to wear down Parkman with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Parkman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Parkman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Parkman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bell is just riding it out for now. Parkman eventually gives up the hold. Parkman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parkman. Bell has hold of Parkman's hands but Parkman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parkman works his foot free and advances to mount. Bell taking shots to the head. Parkman has control of Bell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bell regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell has left one of his arms exposed and Parkman doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bell screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
