Meikalainen has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. DaCoca seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Meikalainen can turn it around.

That was a close round but I would say that Charles DaCoca will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Meikalainen throws a right hand that misses
and Meikalainen is countered with a crisp right hand from DaCoca that sends him to the canvas! DaCoca follows him to the mat into side control.
Meikalainen is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
DaCoca remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Meikalainen is still in real trouble! Can DaCoca finish him?
DaCoca stands up and beckons Meikalainen to his feet.
DaCoca fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Meikalainen manages to avoid it.
Meikalainen seems to have recovered his senses.

A nice side step and Meikalainen releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
DaCoca drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Meikalainen right on the button. Meikalainen goes down! DaCoca follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! DaCoca gets the win via TKO!
