Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Monteban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Del Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Toro has chosen Bliss as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Del Toro.

We've been hearing reports that Monteban has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Monteban takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Del Toro tries to roll over but Monteban keeps him under control.
Monteban is keen to just control but Del Toro is a slippery customer.
Del Toro is looking to improve his position.

Monteban in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Del Toro tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Monteban!

A relieved looking Ricardo Monteban thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
