Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yanko Yanin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yanko Yanin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yanko Yanin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Custer! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Custer. Yanin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Custer feints and as Yanin raises his hands in defense, Custer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Custer trying to stand up but can't free himself from Yanin's guard. Custer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yanin keeping moving, preventing Custer from controlling successfully. Custer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Custer trying to control but Yanin is working from the bottom. Custer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer drops back looking for a leg! Yanin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yanin manages to kick Custer off! Custer jumps back into Yanin's guard. Custer is working Yanin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Custer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Custer controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Custer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Yanin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Custer on the ground. Custer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Yanin keeping moving, preventing Custer from controlling successfully. Custer working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Custer postures up in Yanin's guard and throws a big left but Yanin blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Custer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Custer passes into half guard. Yanin wants to get back to his feet. Custer trying to control the action but Yanin is working from the bottom. Custer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yanin kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Custer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yanin is refusing to be controlled, as Custer sits in half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yanin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dustin Custer dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Custer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yanin circles away. Custer fails with the takedown. Yanko Yanin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yanin throws a right hand that Custer ducks under and follows up with a left that Custer also avoids with ease. Custer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Custer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Yanin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. A nice elbow there by Custer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yanin is looking to escape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Custer cracks Yanin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Yanin wants to get back to his feet.
Yanin is squirming around, avoiding Custer's attempts to control the action. Custer dominating with strikes here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yanin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The referee warns Yanin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Custer lands with some strikes. Custer with a couple of short strikes. Custer wants to control the pace but Yanin is squirming around nicely. Custer won't let Yanin get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Custer trying to control but Yanin is having none of it. Custer raining down shots from the mount! Custer scoring with strikes but Yanin is staying in there. Yanin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Custer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yanin is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Yanin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Yanin wants to try and get back to his feet. Custer scoring with strikes but Yanin is staying in there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Custer with shots to the head and body - Yanin looks very uncomfortable down there. Custer misses with a head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dustin Custer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Custer shoots in looking for a takedown. Yanin tries to sprawl out of it but Custer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yanin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Custer shoots in and bounces Yanin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Yanin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Custer wants to control from the top but Yanin keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Yanin is looking to stand up but Custer isn't so interested in that idea. Custer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Custer wants to control from the top but Yanin keeps moving. Yanin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yanin tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Custer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Custer works a leg free and moves into half guard. Custer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Yanin is not content to let Custer control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Custer wants to pass the guard but Yanin is defending well. Custer frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Custer throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Yanin is squirming around, avoiding Custer's attempts to control the action. Dustin Custer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Custer content just to control the position here. Custer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Yanko Yanin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Despite being in the dominant position, Dustin Custer just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Custer has a takedown stuffed.
And that's the end of the fight! Dustin Custer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Custer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
