Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez has chosen Spain's National Anthem as his entrance music. Jose Hernandez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Roberts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roberts lands in his opponent's guard. Hernandez scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hernandez gets a double leg takedown into Roberts's guard. Roberts has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hernandez is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Roberts is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hernandez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Hernandez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roberts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hernandez. Jose Hernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hernandez fails to land the takedown. Roberts appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Hernandez misses with a takedown attempt - Roberts sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jeff Roberts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Hernandez. Roberts gets a double leg takedown into Hernandez's guard. Roberts cracks Hernandez with a solid left hand. Roberts lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts chips away with some ground and pound. Roberts scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hernandez is rocked! Roberts working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Hernandez is still in real trouble! Can Roberts finish him? Roberts postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Hernandez covers up, he's hurt! Roberts keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Roberts and the ref steps in to end the fight! Roberts can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Roberts! Jeff Roberts seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
