Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Orgun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sami Orgun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood shoots in for a double leg but Orgun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Blood stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Orgun.
Blood has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Orgun.
Orgun lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Orgun buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Orgun tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Blood is able to avoid easily.
Orgun throws a front kick aimed at Blood's knee but Blood avoids it well.
Blood half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Blood seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Orgun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blood has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Blood counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blood wants to lay and pray for a moment but Orgun keeps working.
Orgun is looking to regain half guard here but Blood keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Orgun.

We've been informed that Orgun has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Blood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Orgun sprawls well. Orgun wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blood gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blood can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Orgun controls the pace.
Orgun has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blood is proving hard to escape from.

Orgun is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Blood has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Orgun is looking to defend but Blood has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Orgun! Blood pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Orgun taps out and this one is all over!
