The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maanpohja misses with a few strikes there.
Fujiati looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fujiati chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Maanpohja can pounce on him.
Maanpohja throws a body shot but no joy.
Fujiati drops down looking for a counter takedown but Maanpohja sprawls and moves away.
Maanpohja shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maanpohja showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maanpohja in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fujiati tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Maanpohja!
