Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Sass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ali Wantishurt!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wantishurt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sass swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sass shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wantishurt pinned against the cage. Wantishurt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wantishurt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sass takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Horrible takedown by Sass or perhaps it was just good defense by Wantishurt which made him look bad.
Wantishurt scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wantishurt scores with a sloppy right hand. Sass should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sass shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wantishurt but Wantishurt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Sass. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sass fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sass is breathing heavily.
Wantishurt misses with a wild combination.
Sass looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wantishurt is fending him off so far but Sass persists. Nope, Wantishurt circles away and we're back to standing.
Paul Sass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wantishurt scores with a shot to the body.
Wantishurt pushes Sass up against the cage in a clinch.
Wantishurt tries to break the clinch but Sass is controlling the position.
Wantishurt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wantishurt lands a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wantishurt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Wantishurt lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wantishurt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wantishurt throws an overhand right that has Sass reeling! Wantishurt follows up with more punches and Sass is out cold! This one is all over!
