Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Olson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Demar Jones!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands with an overhand left.
Jones misses with a double jab.
A left lands for Jones.
Olson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones lands with a straight right. Olson didn't see that one coming.
Jones misses with an uppercut.
Olson tries to counter with a takedown but Jones is quick to defend against it.
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Olson misses with a two punch combination.
A shot to the liver by Jones. Beautiful body shot.
A cross from Jones lands.
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Olson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones blocks a head kick by Olson.
Olson throws out a powerful jab.
Jones lands a nice hook to Olson's body. Olson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Olson throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Olson has his takedown stuffed
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
Olson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Olson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Olson ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Jones has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Olson fails to land with a series of punches.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jones! But no joy.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Olson looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.

Demar Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jones throws the kick towards the body but Olson avoids it.
Olson attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.
Jones throws a right and a left that Olson avoids nicely.
It looked like Olson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Olson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Olson.
Olson moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Jones takes a swing at Olson's ribcage but misses.
It looked like Olson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones.

Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Jones throws a nice inside leg kick.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.

Olson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Jones pushes Olson off and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Olsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Olson throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jones throws a wild body kick that Olson sees coming a mile off.
A little feinted left hand from Olson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jones scores with a punch to the head.
Jones defending well as Olson loads up on a big left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Demar Jones dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Jones misses with a leg kick

and Olson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Olson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jones! More strikes land and this one is all over! Olson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
