Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Molly Banana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Sorrowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banana comes to the cage accompanied by Banana Boat Song (Day O) - Harry Belafonte. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Sorrowe! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorrowe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Banana is trying to improve his position. Banana takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Sorrowe is trying to get an arm triangle but Banana is defending well. Banana wants to control but Sorrowe postures up. Banana is looking for a sweep. Banana takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sorrowe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Banana is not content to let Sorrowe control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banana tries to improve position but can't. Banana sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sorrowe looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sorrowe pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Banana gets back to half guard. Sorrowe is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Banana has managed to free his arm - good work. Banana is looking for a sweep. Sorrowe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Sorrowe dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Banana stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Banana wants it to stay on the feet. Banana avoids the body shot from Sorrowe.
Banana misses with an uppercut. Sorrowe saw that one coming. Banana moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sorrowe dives in and grabs Banana's left leg, looking for a takedown. Banana pushes down on Sorrowe's head and hops out. Banana is looking to counter with a body kick. Banana throws a sloppy head kick and Sorrowe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Banana circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sorrowe shoots in but no luck this time. Molly Banana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Sorrowe. Banana throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sorrowe's head.
It looks like Sean Sorrowe has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banana misses with a head kick.
Nice shot lands for Banana. Sorrowe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sorrowe slips a jab from Banana. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sorrowe misses with a hook. Banana ducked under it nicely. Banana buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banana scores with a head kick. Sorrowe tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. No luck for Sorrowe with that takedown attempt. Sorrowe just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBanana. Sorrowe blocks a head kick by Banana.
Sorrowe lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Sorrowe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Banana sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sorrowe is breathing heavily. Sorrowe blocks the body kick.
Banana cracks Sorrowe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sorrowe is rocked! Molly Banana is winning the standup battle so far. Banana throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Sorrowe shoots for a double leg takedown but Banana sprawls well. He's pushed Sorrowe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Banana! This one is all over!
