The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecter Vlll misses with an uppercut
and Simans cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Simans pushes Lecter Vlll away with a front kick.
Simans has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lecter Vlll.
Simans thumps Lecter Vlll with a low kick.
Simans moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lecter Vlll takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lecter Vlll throws a looping overhand right but Simans ducks down to avoid it.

Simans definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Simans takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oh Simans is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lecter Vlll moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Simans goes down! Can Lecter Vlll finish him!?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Simans gets back to half guard.
Simans is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lecter Vlll pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Simans connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lecter Vlll's hands.
Lecter Vlll dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Simans. That did some damage!
Simans misses with a straight left.
Simans swings for the body but Lecter Vlll moves out of range.

Simans tries to score a body lock takedown but Lecter Vlll shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Lecter Vlll slips a straight right by Simans.
Simans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Simans takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Lecter Vlll throws a leg kick but Simans checks it.
Lecter Vlll fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Simans checks it well.
Simans throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Simans moves out of range of the leg kick from Lecter Vlll.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circle, before Lecter Vlll throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Simans's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Lecter Vlll lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

An out of breath Hannibal Lecter Vlll thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
