Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hard Ovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Pinezka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinezka has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Artur Pinezka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ovi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ovi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've been hearing that Ovi has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ovi goes for a double leg but Pinezka avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pinezka continues to drive forward.
