Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Mills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shino Ohio!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills tries to close the distance and clinch but Ohio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ohio feints the counter takedown.

Ohio instigates a clinch.
Ohio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mills escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mills looks to land a body kick but Ohio moved away.

Ohio fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mills, pushing him back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ohio.

Ohio ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ohio no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mills is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Mills is looking to stand up but Ohio won't let him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mills stands up from Ohio's guard - Mills perhaps looking for a knockout.

Mills is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ohio to keep the fight standing.

Ohio is pressed up against the cage. Mills has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ohio down to the mat. Ohio avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mills is trying to pull guard but Ohio turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Ohio scores with a nice hook to the head.

Mills is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ohio wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mills has him pressed against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mills.

Ohio manages to break the clinch.
Ohio has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mills is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ohio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mills shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ohio as he jumps to the side.
Mills goes for a double leg but Ohio avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ohio continues to drive forward.

Ohio moves into range and clinches up with Mills.
Mills is trying to push Ohio away but Ohio has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ohio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ohio pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mills is out of range and Ohio settles back down.
Shino Ohio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ohio rushes Mills and presses him up against the cage.
Mills tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ohio just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ohio is trying to break the clinch but Mills is controlling him.

Ohio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mills fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ohio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Shino Ohio dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mills tries a knee to the head but Ohio blocks it.
Shino Ohio seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Mills jumps guard but Ohio stands there with Mills around his waist. Mills gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well Ohio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
