Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Oswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oswald is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bathory-Blood, Fire, Death. Roger Oswald will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Oswald! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oh, that's a big right hand from Oswald and Freeman goes tumbling to the canvas! Oswald follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Freeman is rocked!
It looks like Jason Freeman has been cut. Freeman is looking to improve his position.
Oh Freeman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Oswald moves into full mount! Freeman won't be happy about that! Freeman seems to have got his legs back now. Oswald controlling the position easily from mount. Freeman is controlling an arm, preventing Oswald from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Freeman is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Freeman swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Oswald controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman working to try and regain half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Freeman stops Oswald from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Oswald looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freeman flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Oswald tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Oswald wants to stand but Freeman is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Freeman is in all sorts of trouble here.
Oswald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Let's hope that Oswald has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Freeman swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Oswald sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Freeman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Oswald is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Freeman slips a jab from Oswald. Freeman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oswald's waist but Oswald gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Freeman off to one side. Roger Oswald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oswald throws a right hand that Freeman ducks under and follows up with a left that Freeman also avoids with ease. Oswald tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oswald gets a clinch. Freeman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Oswald smiles and moves away.
Oswald lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Oswald.
Freeman is breathing heavily. Freeman blocks a head kick by Oswald.
Oswald drops Freeman with a big left hand and mounts him. Freeman is in big trouble! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Oswald controlling from mount. Oswald moves to the back. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oswald is hanging on to Freeman's back as he tries to escape.
Oswald controls the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Roger Oswald just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Oswald steps into range and cracks Freeman with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Freeman flops backwards and Oswald dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oswald content to stall in guard here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oswald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freeman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oswald wanted to stand there but Freeman had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Oswald dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Freeman's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Oswald connects with a solid leg kick. Oswald drops Freeman with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Freeman! Oswald dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roger Oswald!
