Richlin comes to the cage accompanied by Real American Heroes: Mr. Losing Locker Room Reporter. Moesby has chosen Shipping up to Boston as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marion Moesby! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moesby misses with a head kick.
Richlin fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Moesby looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Richlin has closed the distance and engaged Moesby in a clinch.
Moesby is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Richlin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Moesby is trying to keep an underhook but Richlin manages to get the takedown into half guard. Richlin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Richlin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Richlin connects with a nice short shot to Moesby's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Richlin seems to be working for a kimura but Moesby defends the submission attempt. Richlin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moesby actively working from the bottom here. Moesby looks gassed! Richlin is figuring out what he wants to do next. Richlin lands with a punch from half guard. Richlin scoring with strikes to the body and head. Richlin working Moesby over with strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Richlin works his way into side control. Richlin cracks Moesby with a big right hand but Moesby just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Moesby is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Richlin working the head with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Check out the look on Richlin's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Richlin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Moesby is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Richlin has just dragged him back down to the mat. Richlin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Moesby takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Moesby takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Richlin has an Americana. Moesby didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Richlin is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Richlin hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
