Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Pepper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Druff! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Druff avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pepper throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Druff ducks under a wild hook from Pepper. Pepper turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Druff scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pepper has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Druff is working away from the top position though. Pepper is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Druff is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Pepper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pepper is trying to control but can't.
Druff seems to be working for a kimura but Pepper defends the submission attempt. Pepper wants to get back to full guard. Druff is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pepper has managed to free his arm - good work. Pepper trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Druff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pepper doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Druff. Pepper wants to get back to full guard. Pepper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Druff on the ground. Druff is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Druff is looking for a kimura but Pepper is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Druff to get the leverage. Pepper trying to hold on to Druff's head to control him but Druff postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Druff seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pepper is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
