Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hard Ovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernie Vince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hard Ovi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bernie Vince!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovi fails with the takedown.
Vince leaves Ovi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ovi misses with a takedown attempt - Vince sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hard Ovi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ovi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vince cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vince misses with a kick to the body.
Vince scores with a nice head shot.
Ovi shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ovi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vince tries to avoid it but Ovi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vince to the ground. Vince escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ovi moves forwards but Vince connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ovi has his takedown stuffed
and Vince moves into the clinch.
Vince lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Ovi is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vince lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ovi backwards.
Vince lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vince lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ovi backwards.
Ovi gets control of Vince's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ovi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Vince wants to pass the guard but Ovi is keeping the position.
Ovi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vince gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ovi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vince pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ovi is keeping the position for now.

Ovi has control of Vince's left arm, preventing Vince from doing any damage.
Ovi controls Vince momentarily but Vince frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ovi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ovi is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Vince connects with a jab.
Vince lands a big head kick that sends Ovi tumbling to the mat! Vince takes a step backwards and waves Ovi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Hard Ovi has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ovi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Vince lands a left and a right that send Ovi crashing to the mat, dazed. Vince thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vince sends Ovi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vince is motioning to the referee to let Ovi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Ovi is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vince fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ovi.
Ovi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ovi closes the distance and clinches up with Vince, looking for a takedown. Ovi pushes Vince against the cage but Vince circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vince tries a head kick but it misses.
Ovi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vince lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ovi at a distance.
Ovi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vince. Vince obviously looking to wear him down.
A jab from Vince does it's job there.
Ovi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vince sprawls well. Vince wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ovi gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Vince punishes Ovi's body with a nice straight punch.
Vince lands a head shot.
A head kick by Vince - that's a beauty! Ovi is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Vince can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bernie Vince!
