Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Pearsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel has chosen Angel of Death as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Pearsons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Greg Dengel! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearsons lunges at Dengel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dengel's hand.
It looks like Greg Dengel has been cut. Dengel wants to clinch. Dengel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Dengel takes one to the side of the head.
Pearsons gets a clinch. Dengel breaks from the clinch.
Dengel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dengel misses with a body shot.
Dengel wants to clinch and Pearsons moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pearsons lands a takedown into guard.
Pearsons wants to control from the top but Dengel keeps moving. Dengel throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pearsons escapes and throws Dengel's legs to the side, diving into side control! Dengel sneaks back into half guard. Pearsons trying to pass the guard but Dengel defending well. Dengel gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dengel keeping moving, preventing Pearsons from controlling successfully. Pearsons tries to stand but Dengel is controlling from the bottom. Dengel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pearsons pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dengel is keeping the position for now. Pearsons lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pearsons trying to control the position from guard on top but Dengel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dengel looking for a guillotine here but Pearsons defends easily.

Dengel looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearsons passes easily into side control. Nice work. Pearsons lands a few punches from side control. Dengel is looking to regain half guard here but Pearsons keeps moving and retains side control. Dengel sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Dengel tries to roll over but Pearsons keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearsons seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dengel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pearsons is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pearsons winds up and cracks Dengel with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dengel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pearsons lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pearsons pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dengel is keeping the position for now. Pearsons stopping the sweep attempt from Dengel. Dengel can't keep his opponent in guard - Pearsons advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pearsons is working for a submission of some sort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Pearsons dominated that round. The cut man is working on Greg Dengel's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dengel darts in trying to clinch and Pearsons counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dengel looks to land a right hand but Pearsons moved out of range. Dengel looks to land a body kick but Pearsons moved away. Pearsons forces Dengel back against the cage and clinches. Dengel trying to land knees to the body.
Dengel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dengel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Pearsons counter with a right hand. Dengel shoots and misses and Pearsons decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dengel's guard.
Dengel is rocked! Pearsons passes Dengel's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dengel is still in real trouble! Can Pearsons finish him? Pearsons lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dengel quite badly. Dengel pulls Pearsons in close trying to recover. Pearsons postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dengel on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dengel doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Pearsons!
