Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert coke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonardo Bocca!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bocca shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bocca showed some decent athleticism there.
Bocca wants to pass to mount but coke is defending the position.
Bocca missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Bocca is trying to control the action in half guard but coke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bocca tries to stand and escape but coke actually recovers to full guard.

Bocca has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

coke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

coke winds up and cracks Bocca with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

coke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
coke is fighting to break Bocca's control of his arms but Bocca is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bocca is on top in guard.

coke has his foot on Bocca's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bocca works his way back into a safe position though.

You can see the frustration on coke's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bocca has coke flattened out and is raining down punches.
Bocca somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for coke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
