Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Valencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucky Irish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irish has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Lucky Irish will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irish misses with a lunging right hand

and Valencia counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Irish looks winded!
Valencia thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Valencia winds up and cracks Irish with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Valencia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Irish with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Valencia seems to be working for a kimura but Irish defends the submission attempt.

Valencia could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valencia perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Valencia lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Valencia looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Valencia lands a nice short elbow.

That has opened up Lucky Irish's cut even more.

Valencia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Irish defends it well.

Valencia seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Irish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valencia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lucky Irish's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lucky Irish's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
