The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder misses with a low kick.
Thunder rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johnson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Johnson misses with a hook. Thunder ducked under it nicely.
Johnson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Thunder lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thunder.
Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Thunder misses with a low kick.
A left lands for Thunder.
Johnson moves out of range as Thunder strikes.
It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Thunder throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thunder pivots, looking for a leg kick but Johnson is out of range and Thunder settles back down.
Jimmy Thunder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Thunder ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thunder is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.
Thunder loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.
Johnson looks to land a left hand but Thunder moved out of range nicely.

Johnson cracks a nice hook into Thunder's ribs.
Thunder fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Johnson checks it well.
Thunder throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.
Thunder connects with a body shot.
Thunder is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.
Thunder pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson blocks a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thunder. Johnson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Johnson avoids a kick to the body.
Thunder is breathing heavily.
Thunder scores with a decent looking hook.
Johnson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Johnson checks a leg kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Johnson! But no joy.
Thunder throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thunder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A telegraphed right hand from Thunder misses the target.

Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Thunder is just out of range.
It looked like Thunder wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Thunder thows a leg kick but Johnson checks it
and Johnson counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Thunder badly! He tries to strike back but Johnson puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Thunder out cold! Oh man, Thunder will never hear the end of this one!
