Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Von Cloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bowers is defended easily by Cloud.
Cloud stuffs the takedown.
Cloud throws a big counter head kick but Bowers avoids it with no problem.
Jarred Bowers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
