Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kid Cudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Brindle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cudi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Prayer. Kid Cudi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dennis Brindle's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Cudi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dennis Brindle!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Brindle with that takedown attempt.
Cudi appears to be looking for a big counter.
Brindle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cudi's waist but Cudi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brindle off to one side.
Cudi changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
We've been told by Cudi's head coaches at LOD: Black Label that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Brindle closes the distance and clinches.
Brindle is trying to break the clinch but Cudi has him pressed against the cage.

Brindle looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cudi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brindle's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Brindle is looking to stand up but Cudi isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Cudi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brindle defends it nicely.

Cudi closes the distance and clinches up with Brindle, looking for a takedown. Cudi pushes Brindle against the cage but Brindle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Brindle shoots in looking for a takedown but Cudi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brindle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Cudi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cudi.

Cudi is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Brindle wants to control but Cudi postures up.

Cudi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brindle dives in for a single leg takedown but Cudi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Cudi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Brindle misses the jab.
Brindle closes the distance and clinches up with Cudi, looking for a takedown. Brindle pushes Cudi against the cage but Cudi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cudi doesn't manage to clinch there - Brindle circles away.
Brindle is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

and Cudi counters with a three punch combo that has Brindle backing up. Brindle nods at Cudi to acknowledge the strikes.

Cudi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Brindle sprawls and moves away.

and Cudi counters with a big head kick but Brindle shrugs it off.

Cudi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Brindle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cudi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brindle's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cudi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
