Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Koko Glavata!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glavata fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Avare to the ground. Glavata is now in Avare's guard.
Glavata stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Avare swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Avare is trying to keep Glavata in close.
Avare throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Glavata wants to control from the top but Avare keeps moving.
Glavata tries to free his leg and advance position but Avare is retaining full guard.
Glavata stays in close to Avare's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Avare keeping moving, preventing Glavata from controlling successfully.

Avare is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Glavata rolls with it to try and escape but Avare cranks on the arm and Glavata is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
