Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jai McCracken! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCracken throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hockles or perhaps it was just good defense by McCracken, which made it look bad. We've been informed that McCracken has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Hockles tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. It seemed like McCracken was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. McCracken with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hockles misses with a low kick. Hockles scores with a kick to the body.
Hockles takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hockles shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McCracken's guard. McCracken looks winded! Hockles landing some decent shots from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hockles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCracken swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hockles scoring with punches to the head and body. Hockles works over McCracken with some ground and pound from guard. Hockles with a flurry of punches that miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCracken is trying to keep Hockles in close.
McCracken wants to stand and escape but Hockles is having none of it. We've been hearing that Hockles has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hockles throws a big right hand that misses. Hockles stands up from McCracken's guard - Hockles perhaps looking for a knockout. A jab from McCracken misses. McCracken takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Hockles keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McCracken. Nice body kick from Hockles. Hockles throws a combination. McCracken tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Jai McCracken has been cut. Hockles fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McCracken to the ground. Hockles is now in McCracken's guard. Hockles scoring with some ground and pound. Hockles wants to control from the top but McCracken keeps moving. Hockles throws a big right hand that misses. Hockles trying to control the position from guard on top but McCracken is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hockles cracks McCracken with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hockles wants to pass the guard but McCracken is keeping the position. Hockles is working hard here to advance position. Hockles scoring with some ground and pound. McCracken avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hockles landing with the ground and pound. Hockles with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hockles stops McCracken from standing up. Hockles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hockles makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. McCracken preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Hockles stands and throws McCracken's legs to the side, diving into side control. McCracken wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Hockles cracks McCracken with a big right hand but McCracken just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

McCracken controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Hockles lands a few punches from side control. McCracken takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McCracken tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hockles taking a breather here. Hockles is putting a hurting on McCracken here, landing some big shots from side control. McCracken takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hockles lands a few punches from side control. Hockles wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McCracken, who protects the arm well. Hockles cracks McCracken with a big right hand but McCracken just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hockles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McCracken knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McCracken tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Myers Hockles dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jai McCracken's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hockles is trying hard to land a takedown here. McCracken sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hockles scores with a kick to the midsection. McCracken looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hockles misses with a head kick.
Myers Hockles is winning the standup battle so far. A slow jab from McCracken misses its intended target. McCracken misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hockles moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hockles fakes the leg kick and cracks McCracken in the body. McCracken has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Hockles. Hockles lands a head kick. McCracken smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Hockles scores with a leg kick.
McCracken lands with a straight right. Hockles didn't see that one coming. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hockles, right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hockles misses with a kick to the body.
McCracken defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hockles. Hockles misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCracken throws a shot from downtown. Hockles moves away and avoids it. Hockles is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McCracken can do to turn this around? Hockles looks for a takedown but McCracken sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Myers Hockles. That's going to take a lot out of him. McCracken is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick from Hockles lands but McCracken takes it in his stride. Hockles closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hockles cracks McCracken with an elbow. That is naaassty. McCracken is trying to buck Hockles off. McCracken struggling a bit here. McCracken is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hockles connects with a decent elbow. McCracken taking a bit of punishment here - Hockles scoring with strikes. Hockles working the ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hockles decides to take the fight back to the feet. McCracken takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Hockles buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McCracken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hockles was well out of range. Poor timing from McCracken. A jab from Hockles finds it's way through McCracken's defenses.
McCracken is rocked! Hockles shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. McCracken is still in real trouble! Can Hockles finish him? Hockles trying to control from half guard but McCracken is working away. McCracken is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hockles scores with a couple of nice shots. Hockles working the head and body with strikes. Hockles is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. McCracken is trying to stand back up but Hockles is controlling him

He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, McCracken is hurt! He's hurt bad - Hockles fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save McCracken from any more punishment!
