Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Madrigal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madrigal comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Jon-Throw it Up. Monroe has chosen Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Monroe!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe throws a low kick, looking for Madrigal's leg but Madrigal calmly moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Monroe as he connects with a hook.
Monroe misses with a body shot.
Monroe scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Madrigal misses with a two punch combination.
Madrigal has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Russian Top Gym in the buildup to the fight.
