Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ash Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Curran! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams connects with a single shot there. Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Curran as he avoids it easily. A jab from Curran misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Williams. Curran just misses with a punch to the body.
Curran throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily. Williams slips a jab from Curran. Curran changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Williams moves away from the strike by Curran. Williams misses with a hook
and Curran cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ash Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams lands with an overhand left. Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch. Curran escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Curran throws a hook but Williams blocks it. Curran throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curran throws a combination that misses and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Randy Curran has been cut. Williams drops Curran with a beautiful combination! Curran stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Williams is looking for the KO!
Curran is rocked! Williams is stalking Curran. Curran circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Williams, and it's lights out! Curran really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
