The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables McLauhglin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lee throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

McLauhglin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McLauhglin is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lee. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
McLauhglin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

McLauhglin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McLauhglin somewhat.

McLauhglin looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

McLauhglin will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.

Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
