Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buster Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vova Vova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrix slaps away a takedown attempt from Vova, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hendrix takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Vova moves into the clinch.
Vova has Hendrix pressed against the cage, preventing Hendrix from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Vova escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hendrix takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vova has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hendrix after a bit of a struggle.
Hendrix goes for a takedown attempt but Vova pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Buster Hendrix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vova Vova.

Vova gets a clinch.
Hendrix wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vova lands a shot to the body.
Hendrix has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vova avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hendrix tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hendrix drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vova pulls his leg out and moves away.

Vova tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Vova rushes Hendrix and presses him up against the cage.
Hendrix using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Vova has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Hendrix is trying to pull guard but Vova turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Vova ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vova no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Vova has Hendrix pulled in close to control his posture.
Vova tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Vova shoots in for a takedown but Hendrix shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vova scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Vova Vova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vova moves into the clinch.
Hendrix tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vova smiles and moves away.
Hendrix stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hendrix wants it to stay on the feet.

Vova's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Vova lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Vova misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hendrix finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Vova's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hendrix falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
