The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sims stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson.
Sims could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Sims closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Johnson can't break the clinch.

Sims ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sims no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sims utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Sims is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Sims lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sims won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet.

It looks like Timmy Sims has been cut.

Johnson clinches up with Sims and pushes him back against the cage.
Johnson is trying to break free.
Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sims is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing.
Sims tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.
Sims is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Johnson is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timmy Sims. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sims walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Johnson! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
