The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Filby. Bones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bones changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Filby pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bones is out of range and Filby settles back down.
Filby moves in looking to clinch but Bones pushes him off.
Bones avoids the body shot from Filby.

Filby throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bones tries to counter with a takedown but Filby is quick to defend against it.
Bones gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Filby has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bones is working to tighten his grip on Filby's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Filby has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bones is really squeezing tight and eventually Filby passes out! Bones breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Bobby Bones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Highland Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
