Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tino Kallio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Punchy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kallio comes to the cage accompanied by Atomic Rooster - Death Walks Behind You. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchy thows a body kick. Kallio tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kallio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Punchy.
Punchy stuffs the takedown.
Kallio throws a head kick that misses.
Punchy lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Punchy leaves Kallio with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kallio on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kallio or perhaps it was just good defense by Punchy, which made it look bad.

Punchy tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Punchy drops Kallio with a right and a left! Punchy comes rushing in but Kallio regains his composure and manages to keep Punchy in guard.

It looks like Tino Kallio has been cut.
Trent Punchy has got the better of the ground game so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oh Kallio is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punchy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Punchy lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kallio quite badly. Kallio pulls Punchy in close trying to recover. Punchy postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kallio on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kallio doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trent Punchy! Trent Punchy retains his middleweight title!
