Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Ottey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miesha Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miesha Tate will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Miesha Tate!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate goes for a double leg but Ottey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ottey continues to drive forward.
Ottey was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Tate gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ottey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Miesha Tate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ottey has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tate can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tate got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ottey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tate has managed to get both his arms back between Ottey's legs - danger averted.

Ottey is in all sorts of trouble here.

Ottey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tate has hold of Ottey's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ottey seems comfortable defending it but Tate has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ottey is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ottey is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tate couldn't care less - he's delighted!
