The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Fredo.
Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fredo is defending well. Silva quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fredo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Silva celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
