Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Nilsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miilo Nurkkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nurkkanen has chosen When im gone remixed by DJ Darkjuice as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Miilo Nurkkanen has the better chin. 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Miilo Nurkkanen! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nurkkanen shoots in but no luck this time. Nurkkanen ducks right into an uppercut from Nilsen. Nurkkanen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nilsen defends well and Nurkkanen ends up having to push Nilsen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nurkkanen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nilsen is fending him off so far but Nurkkanen persists. Nope, Nilsen circles away and we're back to standing. Dennis Nilsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miilo Nurkkanen. Nilsen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nilsen showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
