Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Getzat Downe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Downe comes to the cage accompanied by Next Level. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Getzat Downe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie Rose!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose has managed to clinch.
Downe avoiding damage as Rose throws knees to the body.
Downe prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rose goes for a takedown attempt but Downe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rose avoids the head kick by Downe.
Downe throws a sloppy head kick and Rose moves out of range easily.

and Rose counters with a nice low kick that buckles Downe's knee momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sloppy strikes from Downe. Those never looked like landing.
Rose closes the distance and pushes Downe back into the cage.
Rose looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Downe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Downe has a couple of punches blocked by Rose.
Rose lands a right hand.
Rose missing with knees to the body.
Downe is trying to push Rose away but Rose has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Downe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rose smiles and moves away.
Downe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rose is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Downe to keep the fight standing.
Getzat Downe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie Rose.
Rose misses with a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rose pulls guard successfully.
Downe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rose is on top in guard.
Rose distracts Downe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rose controlling from the top position.
Rose cracks Downe with a solid left hand.
Rose pushing down on Downe's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rose is taking a breather. Downe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Downe tries to kick Rose off but Rose keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rose passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Downe!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rose looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Downe tries to hold on but Rose pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rose stands up from mount. Strange move.
Rose blocks a head kick by Downe.
Rose will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rose lands a head shot.
A left lands for Rose.
Downe takes one on the button.
Downe tries a head kick but it misses.
Rose was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rose forces Downe back against the cage and clinches.
Rose drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Downe gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Rose.
Rose pulls guard effortlessly.
Rose wants to sweep but no luck.
Rose has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Downe doesn't defend quickly enough and Rose has managed to lock this one up! Can Downe escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rose on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Robbie Rose!
After the big win, Robbie Rose made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Max Octane Fight Wear and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
Getzat Downe was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you for showing me where my training is lacking. I will be back, stronger, faster and more humble for the experience.'.
