Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Javier Esposito!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esposito throws a hook but Bizarria avoids it easily.
Bizarria tries to counter with a takedown but Esposito is quick to defend against it.
Esposito misses with a straight right.
Esposito misses with a looping left.
Esposito throws a head kick that misses.
Bizarria feinted with a counter takedown.
Bizarria walks into a jab.

Bizarria ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bizarria changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Esposito lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Esposito is predictable there

and Bizarria counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Esposito utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Esposito tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Esposito has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Hunter MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bizarria's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bizarria is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bizarria won't allow Esposito to sweep him here.
Esposito keeping moving, preventing Bizarria from controlling successfully.
Bizarria passes Esposito's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Bizarria frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Esposito is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The referee warns Esposito that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Esposito is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bizarria is staying active.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bizarria cracks Esposito with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Esposito is wriggling around trying to escape.
A nice elbow there by Bizarria.
Bizarria connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bizarria has control of Esposito's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Esposito regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bizarria is landing with some decent strikes but Esposito is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
