Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jobbing Jobber ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stevie Birch! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Jobber does no damage. Birch gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Birch pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Birch pushes Jobber back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jobber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Birch throws a knee to the head but misses.

It looks like Jobbing Jobber has been cut. Jobber is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jobber has had enough of the clinch but Birch keeps him there for the moment. Jobber wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Birch has him pressed against the cage. Birch gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Jobber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Birch pulls his leg out and moves away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jobber manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jobber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jobber is adopting a defensive guard. Birch wants to control from the top but Jobber keeps moving. Birch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jobber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Birch has managed to get both his arms back between Jobber 's legs - danger averted. Birch won't allow Jobber to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jobber can't keep his opponent in guard - Birch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jobber punching from the bottom.
Jobber blocking the ground and pound attempt from Birch. Birch wants to pass to mount but Jobber is defending the position. Birch sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jobber defending well though. Jobber pushes Birch off and gets back to his feet. Birch clinches. Birch landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Stevie Birch dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jobbing Jobber 's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nice shot by Jobber . Jobber closes the distance and pushes Birch back into the cage. Birch lands a damaging elbow. Jobber gets control of Birch's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jobber will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jobber looking to hit a scissor sweep but Birch is one step ahead there. Jobber had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Birch defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Birch is stalling in the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Birch controls from within his opponent's guard. Birch stands up and waves to Jobber to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Birch gets a clinch. Birch has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Birch lands a knee to the head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jobber shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Birch moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stevie Birch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jobbing Jobber 's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jobber is on top in guard.
Birch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jobber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jobber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that's the end of the fight! Stevie Birch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Birch winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
