Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doyle Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Ilmarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by American Encore. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Doyle Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Ilmarinen! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ilmarinen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Ilmarinen looks to land a left hand but Hawk moved out of range nicely. Hawk tries to counter with a takedown but Ilmarinen is quick to defend against it. Hawk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ilmarinen.
Hawk appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ilmarinen misses with a wild body shot. Hawk steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ilmarinen. Hawk avoids the body shot from Ilmarinen.
Hawk drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ilmarinen sprawls and moves away. Ilmarinen throws a looping overhand right but Hawk ducks down to avoid it. Hawk feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ilmarinen looks to throw the jab but Hawk is out of range. A shot to the liver by Ilmarinen. Beautiful body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Ilmarinen. Hawk does a little dance to reset his feet. Ilmarinen with a hook. Hawk defending well as Ilmarinen loads up on a big left hand. Ilmarinen throws an off balance right hand
and Hawk counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hawk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ilmarinen defends it well. Hawk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk wants to work for an arm triangle but Ilmarinen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hawk seems to be working for a kimura but Ilmarinen defends the submission attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hawk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ilmarinen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hawk. Hawk seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ilmarinen manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hawk keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Hawk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ilmarinen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ilmarinen throws a front kick that sends Hawk stumbling back into the cage. Hawk slips under a jab from Ilmarinen. A looping hook to the body misses from Ilmarinen. Hawk does a little dance to reset his feet. Hawk changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Hawk avoids the body shot from Ilmarinen.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ilmarinen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Ilmarinen lands with an overhand left. Ilmarinen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hawk counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hawk. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hawk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hawk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hawk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hawk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seppo Ilmarinen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ilmarinen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hawk. Ilmarinen misses with a straight right. Hawk appears to be looking for a counter takedown. and Hawk counters with a takedown into side control. Hawk tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hawk has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ilmarinen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Hawk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ilmarinen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hawk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hawk tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ilmarinen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hawk is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ilmarinen has escaped the position, nice work there. Hawk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ilmarinen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hawk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hawk is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ilmarinen looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hawk gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ilmarinen is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hawk lets go of the hold and Ilmarinen can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Doyle Hawk! A very excited looking Doyle Hawk rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
