Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranky Scorpion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samppa Linna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scorpion kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ˇMAYDAY! - Last One Standing. Ranky Scorpion has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linna will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Samppa Linna has been cut.
Linna takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Linna swings for the body but Scorpion moves out of range.
Scorpion throws a jab when Linna was well out of range.
Scorpion digs a good hook to Linna's body.
Linna throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Linna misses with a series of wild punches.
A quick step to the side and Scorpion tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scorpion ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Linna moves away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Scorpion.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scorpion walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Linna misses with a jab to the body
enabling Scorpion to counter with a crisp jab.
Scorpion connects with a body shot.
Linna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scorpion.
Linna stuns Scorpion with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Linna tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scorpion paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Linna wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Linna decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Scorpion is controlling Linna's trapped leg to prevent Linna from advancing to side control.
Linna is looking to take a break and control but Scorpion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Scorpion regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Linna.

Scorpion has his hands on Linna's head, controlling the position.

Linna seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Scorpion is looking for a triangle but Linna pushes his legs off easily.

Scorpion can't keep his opponent in guard - Linna advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Linna keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Scorpion is holding on to half guard well.
Linna is thwarting Scorpion's attempts to control the position.
Scorpion is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Linna is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nice shot lands for Scorpion.
Linna sizes up Scorpion with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Linna avoids the body shot from Scorpion.
Samppa Linna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Linna throws a hook to the side of Scorpion's head but Scorpion sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Linna gets the takedown into side control.
Scorpion is trying to control Linna's posture but Linna avoids it.
Scorpion trying to control but Linna flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Linna misses with a punch to the head.
Linna controlling well, preventing Scorpion from escaping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Linna really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Scorpion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samppa Linna dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Scorpion throws a body punch but Linna moves out of range.
Scorpion drops Linna with a left and a right! Oh, Linna is hurt - Scorpion dives into side control looking to finish!
Linna is trying to get back to half guard.
Linna regains half guard.
Scorpion trying to control the action but Linna is working from the bottom.
Scorpion winds up and cracks Linna with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Linna is looking to control Scorpion's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Linna avoid being mounted?
Scorpion scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Linna is rocked!
Scorpion lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Linna! More strikes land and this one is all over! Scorpion jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
