Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastard Ciyaalka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastard Ciyaalka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bastard Ciyaalka!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciyaalka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marsh manages to avoid it.
Marsh shoots in but no luck this time.
Ciyaalka shoots in for a takedown but Marsh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Marsh keeps the fight on the outside.
Marsh fails with the takedown.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Marsh enables Ciyaalka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marsh manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ciyaalka's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ciyaalka is still trying to improve position.
Ciyaalka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marsh's guard.

Ciyaalka tries to pass to full mount but Marsh defends it.
Ciyaalka is looking for a kimura here.
Marsh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ciyaalka is working away from the top position though.
Ciyaalka is pressing down on Marsh's thigh, looking to free his foot. Marsh is holding on for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Marsh is pressing down on Ciyaalka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ciyaalka won't allow Marsh to sweep him here.
Marsh is looking for a triangle but Ciyaalka pushes his legs off easily.
Marsh doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Marsh shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Marsh was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ciyaalka sneaks out the side door and pushes Marsh away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Marsh is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marsh gets caught flat footed, as Ciyaalka shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ciyaalka stops Marsh from standing up.
Ciyaalka decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Marsh, up you get!
Ciyaalka shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Marsh tries to kick Ciyaalka off in order to stand up. Ciyaalka Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Marsh prevents Ciyaalka from moving into mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bastard Ciyaalka dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ciyaalka doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ciyaalka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ciyaalka wants to pass the guard but Marsh is keeping the position.

Marsh has his foot on Ciyaalka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ciyaalka works his way back into a safe position though.

Ciyaalka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Marsh is looking to clinch.
Ciyaalka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ciyaalka wants it to stay on the feet.
