The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamarov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tanlagu is trying to defend but Shamarov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Shamarov is trying to work for a kimura but Tanlagu is defending well.

Tanlagu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Shamarov pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
