Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fight Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Woowa Owraa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fight Guy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Woowa Owraa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fight Guy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Woowa Owraa! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owraa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guy pinned against the cage. Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. It looked like Guy was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Owraa throws a series of strikes that have Guy backpedaling.
Owraa throws a right and a left that both miss. Guy appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Owraa throws a sloppy head kick and Guy moves out of range easily. Guy drives through with a takedown into guard. Owraa is looking to stand back up but Guy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Owraa. Owraa is trying to stand.
Guy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guy slips a nice elbow through Owraa's hands, connecting with Owraa's forehead. This has been an exciting period of action! Guy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Guy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy is working for a submission of some sort.
Owraa has hold of Guy's hands but Guy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Owraa is trying to get back to full guard. Owraa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Guy stalling. Guy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Owraa for as long as he can get away with. Guy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Guy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Owraa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Guy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Guy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Owraa is rocked! Guy is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Owraa is hurt! He's hurt bad - Guy fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Owraa from any more punishment! Congratulations to Guy! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fight Guy! After the fight, Fight Guy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
