Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Beast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Hall! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Beast throws out the jab. Hall takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hall moves out of range of the body kick from Beast.
Hall is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Beast dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Beast uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hall has time to react. Hall walks into a straight right hand from Beast. Hall's coach down at THC playhouse was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hall's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Beast uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hall. Hall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Beast counters with a lovely straight right hand! Beast throws a push kick but Hall slaps the foot to one side. Beast throws a shot to the body.
Beast lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd cheers as Beast lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hall doesn't seem phased though. Beast pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hall on the wrong end of a nice hook. Hall missing with a left hand there. Beast was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Beast connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hall momentarily.
Beast is looking to land body kicks. Beast is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Beast misses the jab. Beast throws a low kick but Hall moves out of range easily. Beast connects with the punch. Beast wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Beast misses with a lunging right hand
and Hall counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hall is thwarting Beast's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Beast defending well though. Hall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Beast tries to get to full guard but Hall has control of the leg. Beast blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall lands strikes from half guard. Beast controlling the position well. Beast is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at GWad's Playpen that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Beast is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hall wants to take a breather but Beast is having none of it. Beast is looking to control Hall's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beast avoid being mounted? Hall is trying to control the action in half guard but Beast is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Beast looks to score with a jab to the body but Hall is just out of range. Beast throws a body punch but Hall moves out of range. Hall with the counter takedown but Beast avoids it easily. Beast connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Beast. Hall shrugs it off though. Hall falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Beast to counter with a crisp jab. Beast throws a push kick but Hall slaps the foot to one side. Hall shapes to counter with a head kick. Beast misses with a kick to the body and Hall counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Beast's head.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Beast looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hall stalling away here and it's allowed Beast to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Hall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beast swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hall throws an elbow that misses. Beast uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hall's guard. Nice move by Beast!
Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Hall is pulling down on Beast's head to control his posture. Beast's corner is telling him to maintain position. Beast avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beast looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Hall pulls Beast in to control the position. Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beast not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hall throws a lazy uppercut
and Beast counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hall thinking. Beast lands a two punch combo.

Beast throws a jab when Hall was well out of range. Billy Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beast throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Hall to counter with a crisp jab. Beast lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Beast lands a left and a right that send Hall crashing to the mat, dazed. Beast thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hall is rocked!
It looks like Justin Hall has been cut. Hall misses with a hook. Hall is still on wobbly legs! Can Beast finish him? Beast drops Hall with a straight right hand, right on the button! Beast follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Beast! Post fight, Billy Beast took to the microphone: 'I'm bad, I know it. I'm bad, I show it.'.
