Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Light Diode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diode is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Warren G and Nate Dogg - Regulate. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Diode displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anderson throws out the jab.
And Diode tries to counter it with a takedown but Anderson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Diode lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Anderson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
An inside leg kick lands from Diode.
A bone on bone clash there as Diode blocks the leg kick.
Diode is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Anderson misses with a straight left.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Diode!

It looks like Brownie Anderson has been cut.
Diode lands a right hook to the body.
Diode digs a good hook to Anderson's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diode takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Diode tries to clinch up.
Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diode moves away.

Diode moves into the clinch.
Anderson blocks an uppercut.
Anderson just leaning against Diode, taking a breather.

Diode lands with a short shot to the head.

Diode trying to stall but Anderson improves his position.
Anderson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Diode working the clinch nicely. Anderson is working for position but Diode cracks him with a big knee to the head! Anderson crumples up against the cage and Diode lands two more shots before the ref can save Anderson! This one is all over!
