PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wasim Kayani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshi Matoshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kayani comes to the cage accompanied by Audioslave - Exploder. Matoshin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mortal Kombat theme. Toshi Matoshin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wasim Kayani's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toshi Matoshin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kayani throws a head kick that Matoshin semi-blocks.
Kayani ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matoshin moves away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Matoshin.
Kayani throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Matoshin throws a nice inside leg kick.
Matoshin blocks a low kick nicely.
Kayani waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Matoshin.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kayani.

Toshi Matoshin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A clash of legs there as Matoshin blocks the low kick.
Kayani tries to score a power double leg takedown but Matoshin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kayani somewhat.

Kayani closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Matoshin did well to prevent Kayani getting side control.

Kayani buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Matoshin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Matoshin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kayani finds it's way round the side to connect with Matoshin's head.
