Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wolfram Stelzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stelzer comes to the cage accompanied by Satyricon - K.I.N.G.. Masters comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Simply the Best kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Wolfram Stelzer! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ken Masters ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masters checks a leg kick. Stelzer ducks under a wild hook from Masters . Masters has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Stelzer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. An inside leg kick lands from Masters . Wolfram Stelzer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stelzer connects with an inside leg kick. Masters misses with a low kick.
Stelzer tried to counter with a leg kick but Masters avoided it. Good shot there by Masters . Stelzer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Masters avoids the body shot from Stelzer.

Stelzer throws a leg kick and Masters counters with a nice kick to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Masters decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stelzer to his feet. Masters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stelzer. That did some damage! Masters looks to score with a jab to the body but Stelzer is just out of range. Masters misses with a low kick as Stelzer jumps back. Masters looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stelzer misses with a takedown attempt - Masters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Masters tries a quick counter leg kick but Stelzer is wise to it. A leg kick checked by Stelzer. As Masters backs away, Stelzer returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Masters takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Some bone on bone action there as Masters checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Stelzer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Masters . Masters circles away from the clinch attempt and Masters counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stelzer's knee momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters lands a jab to Stelzer's midsection. Masters fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stelzer on the side of the head. Masters takes one to the chin there. Nice uppercut there from Masters . Stelzer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stelzer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Masters 's guard. Masters is wriggling around but Stelzer manages to pass to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stelzer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stelzer wants to control but Masters is keeping him busy. Masters kicks off Stelzer and gets to his feet. Masters chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stelzer can pounce on him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stelzer throws a leg kick that is checked and Stelzer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Masters throws a leg kick but Stelzer checks it. As Masters backs away, Stelzer returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Stelzer throws a low kick but Masters moves out of range easily. Masters moves out of range of the body kick from Stelzer.
Despite the aggression on Masters 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Masters looks for the body kick but Stelzer saw that one coming. Masters keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Masters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stelzer fails with a takedown attempt. Masters flicks out a counter leg kick but Stelzer steps away. Masters moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Masters dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Masters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stelzer cracks Masters with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stelzer ducks under a wild hook from Masters . We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Masters lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stelzer circles away quickly and effectively. Stelzer getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Stelzer is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Crunch! Masters slams his shin into Stelzer's torso. Stelzer moves into range and clinches up with Masters . Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Masters lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stelzer backwards. Masters 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Stelzer will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Masters connects with an inside leg kick. Stelzer throws a solid leg kick but Masters takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stelzer. Masters tests Stelzer's chin there with a solid looking shot. Masters throws a hook to the side of Stelzer's head but Stelzer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Masters is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Masters has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stelzer finds it's way round the side to connect with Masters 's head. Stelzer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Masters . Stelzer misses with a low kick. Jab, jab by Stelzer - just one landing. Masters slips a straight right by Stelzer. Stelzer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stelzer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Masters is trying to get back to his feet. Stelzer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Masters parries the strikes from Stelzer easily there. Stelzer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Masters to escape.
Stelzer has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Stelzer tries to advance to mount but Masters denies him. Masters is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stelzer.
